BASIC SETUP - Submitted by JamesD


1. Login to the modem (default IP address is 192.168.1.1)

2. Quick Settings

Protocol - PPPoE

ISP Username - Your Exetel Username and password are supplied in your welcome email.

ISP Password - Your Exetel Username and password are supplied in your welcome email.

VPI - 8

VCI - 35

Enable AutoSetDNS - Ticked. DNS 1 - Blank DNS 2 - Blank

3. Applying Settings.

Make sure that you select "apply" at the bottom of the Quick settings page. This will apply the user name and password that you have set in the modem and the modem will then attemp to reconnect to the internet.
